Saige 2 year pics

Here are a few of Saiges 2 year pics. Everytime we go she gets warmed up quicker and quicker. This time she acted so silly as you can see in some of the pics. I still can't believe shes 2. Crazy!

What gives?

This weather has been insane! One day beautiful the next pouring rain all day till 4 and then suddenly the sun decides to come out. I guess as the saying goes.. April showers brings May flowers??! I'm going to be broke by the time summer gets here. Saige and I go shopping on rainy days. She loves shopping (food, clothes, window). She'll wake up and say "a shopping". All I can say is thank goodness for the nice days and yesterday was one of them. I wore shorts! My family was here for conference weekend. We planned on bbqing in between the 2 sessions and then due to the extremely nice weather we decided to take it all the the park. The park here is amazing! It is near this lake and woods with lots of trails not to mention the hundred different play grounds they have. So we packed up and went to the park. We grilled and flew kites and had the best time. I hate when they come cause when they leave its so lonely. We love having them! I'll blame it on my pregnancy brain but of course I forgot my camera. My bro got some great pics of us so i'll get them from him and post them asap. On other news... Jared comes home 1 week from today!!! I want to scream with excitment!!! And a month from now we will be in sunny Flordia with Drews fam! I can't wait! I've never been to Florida so the excitment is almost unbarable. Not that I can really say i'm going to love looking like the whale on the side lines in a ginormous prego bathing suit but hey i'll come back with a tan! Nothing feels better then a tan! We can't wait to see Drews fam again and share lots of laughs with them! This is going to be a summer to remember thats for sure!

Where were you two years ago today??

Today is our little sweethearts birthday. Man, where does the time go? Its hard to look at these pics and think that that was our Saige. Here are some things she is doing now...She can count to ten, not only in english but in spanish also, our biggest accomplishment (that's for her uncle Jared), She is talking up a storm, it sure is great for us to actually be able to ask her things and her answer us. Our favorite saying of hers right now is "I silly, ahahaha", We're trying to learn our abc but man is it long! haha She can sing along to songs not the whole thing but parts, she loves the po po (police), firetrucks and ambulances (gotta love living in the ghetto), she has no fear of anything this scares mommie, her new thing is hiding when she knows she should be cleaning up or things like that, she loves coloring, she colors different, I think, then most kids. She will scribble a sec and then start making little scribble marks like half in by half inch. Its funny to watch cause she will start to say the alphabet like thats what she's drawing. She is mommie and daddys little helper and we are soo blessed to have her sweet spirit and happy little smiles in our family. We couldn't imagine life without her. Drew took this pic of me last Sunday. I need to take more but so far this is all we got. So heres our little belly bump. We have another appt. Friday and next week we have another ultrasound! wohoo! they're always fun!

Mommies first dress.

I have been wanting to sew some things for Saige forever and I finally have done it! This is the first dress i've made for her and its about time! haha Its a sun dress for summer. I'm making her another one in red and teal. They are super cute. Thank you mommie for all the help you gave me! It turned out better then I thought.

Quick New York trip.

Drews friends came to NY this past week for 3 hours. Yes... they were there for only 3 hours. They had a lay over so we hurried jumped on the train and enjoyed the pinch of time we had with them. We love Drews friends and any 2 seconds we get with them we soak them up! I think it helps Drew with being away. haha Here are some fun pics we took on the train.
