ok so for some crazy reason I want to make a quiet book for saige. I have no idea how in the heck to do it! I don't think I am very creative, so i'm looking for anyone to help. Has anyone made a quiet book? where do you start? Thanks guys!

The fabric I used was unbleached mulsin (you can get it for cheap at walmart). I made the pages about the size of a notebook paper, but cut a little larger so that there could be about 5/8" seam on all edges for when I sewed them together. I kind of copied my mom's quiet book from the 70's for a lot of the pages.
My mom said she tried to make each page have some sort of learning principle- like velcroing, zippering, or buckling, or snaps, or tieing, or buttoning, or weaving. If you want, I can tell you what each individual page does- just email me at fowlerfam at gmail dot com.

Okay I just made a couple for Brook and mase except I can't find the book now... anyway its a book filled with file folder ideas. I copied pages from the book onto printer paper. colored them and cut out the pieces that need cutting out glued them to a file folder and lamenated the folder and each piece. I put little velcro dots on the pieces so my kids and play with the books. One was a noah's ark theme with the animals, one was tithing and the 10 % pieces of money that match and another was one of Joseph smith and the sacred grove. I'll keep looking if you want the name of the book. I know its by a church member. I love them for church or car rides. They keep the kids quiet for ages. :o)
