What I am thankful for..

Well seeing that its Sunday and I have some time to think being that Saige is still with grammie i thought i'd write the things I am more then thankful for. I've been praying so hard lately for different things and i've never in my life realized how much my Heavenly Father truely loves and listens to me. Prayer after prayer I have felt his power and love for me that it totally and completely took me by surprise. I am just so so grateful for our knowledge of the truth. I've never been a very spiritual person and I don't know why it feels so good to do good. I like the way it feels to know you are doing good and are in the comfort of Heavenly Fathers arms. Its so much easier. I'm so grateful for our Prophet that leads and guides us. It comforts me to know that even though the world looks dark and dreary that we can go to our homes and Temples to feel the spirit and be comforted. I think without our knowledge I would be so scared to live tomorrow. I'm thankful for my parents and their great example to their children. I know that with out my mommies sweet testimony, love and simple words and my daddys inconvenient prayers, faithful testimony and stern knowledge of the gospel I would not be where I am today. I am grateful for the gift of motherhood. Everyday when I look in my beautiful little girls eyes I am reminded of what I want to be for her. I am reminded of this precious gift Heavenly Father has given to Drew and I and how lucky I am to have an eternal family. I am so thankful for my loving and patient husband. I know that without a shadow of a doubt I could never have been with anyone else. I am humbled by his love of the gospel. He is such an example to me. He makes me want to be better everyday. I am grateful for my friends. I may not have many but the ones I do have are the best I could ever ask for. I am thankful for my in laws. They are great! They opened their family to me with out hesitation. Mom Whitehead is such an amazing women! Even with her neck broken she doesn't complain or hesitate to smile. Cant wait till next month! I am thankful for Heavenly Fathers tender mercies. So I know this is random and not put together in the most organized manor but these are the things I couldn't live without and thought i'd share.

New York City here we come!

Well first off I have to thank my mommie for taking Saige for Drew and I this weekend. I'll tell you what, I swear I have to be the luckiest girl in the world. I have the best mommie anyone could ever ask for. She had our crazy little kid for 3 days! yup! thats right, I told you I have the best mommie. Well we took advantage and went to our 2nd favorite place in the world (well so far out of what we've seen Utah being number 1 vaca spot! haha). We spent the night in the crappiest hotel in NYC the widget (pics to prove below). We went with my cute friend Jess. We had such a blast! Drew had an architecture thing at Pratt so Jess and I took an adventure to canal st. It was FUN!!! Jess has more pics of our little adventure that I will have to get and post later. We got some way way cute bags for bottom dollat prices. We are so good!

Mommie and her bff...

Gabbi and I always have so much fun when we get together. Theres nothing in the world better then your best girlfriend. I don't know what id do without her. Shes been threw alot with me. I love you Gabs!

Saige and her bff...

My bestest friend Gabbi has a cute little girl Kaydence, just a few months younger then Saige. We love watching them play together. They're growing up so fast we're afraid to blink.

Potty training in a day?

Well for me, it only took half a day to realize Saige was so not ready to be potty trained but she sure does look cute!

Girls will be girls...

I got this little ballet outfit from my parents ward at a clothing exchange they were having. Saige and I blasted some music and danced our little booties off! She was having so much fun twirling and bouncing. Its one of those days you look at your kids and think "man, this is all I want in life. She is perfect."

Make Over Madeness

ok maybe I should expain. So two of my best girlfriends were over, we were having a high school musical marathon (so cute!). Poor drew was stuck in the middle of us three girls. We begged him to let us put mascara on him...then eye liner...then eye shadow and to finish it blush! Then we had the bright idea of making me his boyfriend. haha it was fun and we got out a ton of laughs!

Potty Time!

Any ideas? Drew and I are going to start to try and potty train saige. We think she is ready. When you ask her if she has to go pee pee she holds herself and sits on the potty. she doesn't ever go but at least she realizes what it is and where it comes from. haha i'm nervous but excited i'm hoping maybe by christmas we'll have it down! My mom had this book potty training in a day.. She has trained like a million kids with it and it works so I really gotta read it. But please if any of you moms (or dads) have any hints please share them with us.

Pregnant....

Gotcha! I'm not pregnant but Saige sure looks pregnant. She thought this was so fun!

Saige was very patriotic on voting day. She was so excited to be able to hold pop pops flag from his funeral.

Man oh man

So votes are in and it was definitely clear who the people of the U.S wanted. At first I was really angry. I couldn't believe how many people he wood over. But after thinking about it, I don't know. Its true what they are saying he got the african american community to get up and do something. That is a good thing. Lets just hope he can keep that up. Maybe, just maybe he'll keep all his promises and keep us informed and what not. I don't know. I'm still sad about the ending but I want to have hope that our country is not in the hands of a wolf. I want to have hope that things will get better. Only time will tell. I have my fingers crossed.
