So votes are in and it was definitely clear who the people of the U.S wanted. At first I was really angry. I couldn't believe how many people he wood over. But after thinking about it, I don't know. Its true what they are saying he got the african american community to get up and do something. That is a good thing. Lets just hope he can keep that up. Maybe, just maybe he'll keep all his promises and keep us informed and what not. I don't know. I'm still sad about the ending but I want to have hope that our country is not in the hands of a wolf. I want to have hope that things will get better. Only time will tell. I have my fingers crossed.

I am glad our country has come to the point where we will elect an African American for president. I just wish I agreed with his policies. Let's hope for the best.
I was really upset too. I couldn't sleep because I was really upset, but hopefully it won't be as bad as we all think. If we are prepared for everything that could happen then we will be ok. Preparation is the key!

Hello Drew, Leah, and Saige - I love peeking in and seeing your little family and the fun things you do and the gorgeous little girl you got there! She's as cute as my Lear, Ella, Danika, and Aryanna!! My only suggestion is that perhaps it would be good to have a political blog where you could talk politics and issues that are important to you and that you have a definite idea on. That way the issues that are sometimes contentious are in a place where communication on such news is encouraged and those of us who want to keep track of your family news and pics can go to your family blog. It's good to have a clear picture of our beliefs and our patriotism, etc., but when it is in such a public place as a family blog, feelings of frustration and anger can marr relationships. Anyway, that's just my little soap box speech. I can't wait to see you all sometime during the Christmas holidays. We love you!! Love, Aunt Launa
