Utah/ Vegas

Its been a while since i wrote so there will be alot of pics. These are from when we went to Utah a week ago. Some are at grandmas and grandpas house and the others were in vegas! we had a blast and are so hating the east coast right now! Drew took me to see the phantom of the opera in vegas for our 2 year anniversary! it was amazing! i love that show and could see it over and over again! a must see for all! k about the pics... the first pic was of saige in our bath room at the hotel, she loved that tissue box. the next few are of drew and i after the show. the ones where we are in the pool were taken at the luxar. Saige loved the water but was she got cold easily. The next few are outside and inside the bellogio. we watched the fountains and looked at the balloons on the ceiling. Saige like being with Karen and grandma in Karens beautiful gardens. Saige had lots of fun playing with that big fish. Saiges famous messy face! Thank you auntie megan for your fun necklaces! The kept saige busy for hours! and finally... our way to utah on the plan and then waiting in the airport saige fell asleep.

Wow! its been forever since i wrote. Lets see if i can remember what has happened... Oh! biggest event, SAIGE IS WALKING!!! finally! she has been trying since december and finally got it going last week. its so cute to watch her stiff little legs going. she is so proud of herself. We started digging the dang ivy that was over taking our front yard out. yup its pretty much all gone. it looks wayyyyy better! i planted my flowers in my gardens and while doing so my little helper started eating dirt! mommie didn't realize until she was a mess! so nasty! she also climbed into the car and pretended like she was driving. daddy loves seeing that. I think saige has started to realize her ability to climb she climbs on anything and everything she can! we had a laundry basket on the floor and she climbed into it! The best story of climbing was today when we had b-day cake for my mom, we were in the living room and she went into the kitchen we went in to check on her and she had pushed the stool over to the stove found her spoon and started eating the cake that was on the counter! too cute! man i love that girl! another exciting thing... we talked to Jared today! it was so cool! It was so nice to hear his voice! he was my best friend so i miss him alot! saige can't wait to meet him in April. one year down another to go! i can't wait for him to come back! umm.. my birthday was a few weeks ago. it was way fun. Drew and i went on our first day since saige was born! it was so relaxing! we went to see the movie baby momma! so sooo funny! Drew for the first time since being married, well maybe not the first time, bought me flowers! They were so pretty! We went to see backyardagins live that week also which was fun. Saige danced the whole show and the kids fell sleep on our drive home. finals are this week. i have one more and drew also has one more! yeah! can't wait to be done! well i gotta jet... homework awaits me!

the many adventures of saige!

ok so this post is gonna have lots of pictures! i havent posted any for a little. grandma and grandpa whitehead need to be updated! ;) ok.. for Easter my mom got saige some bubbles! saige LOVES them! i tried to get pictures so her playing with them but everytime i would be about to take it she would start looking down at the bubbles! gotta love that giant flower! We have this one window that saige loves to sit on the step and look out. there are always people walking by cause we live in the city. she will just sit there and "talk" to people as they go by. i took these the other day
the other day i was just doing my thing... who knows what i was doing maybe my make up? i looked down and some how saige had gotten my face cream and was eating it!! eww!!! ya it was nasty! but haha she looked so cute! Saige is a true utahan at heart. she got into a ranch container the other day and just sat there sucking the ranch out of the container! man how do babies eat everything! that is just wrong! That day she also was cooking in the kitchen. she has a cabinet that she is allowed to play in that has the pots and pans in them. she LOVES noise. she will just sit there and bang different things together and just laugh and laugh! so cute! ohhh ya she had her first donut the other day! lets just say she is like her daddy and could live on sweets! which then brings us to ritas! yup you can geuss it she loved her ritas! when we were eating this she had just gotten up for her nap and was grumpy she saw my icecream and literally dug right in! and when i say she is just like her daddy she really is. aren't girls supposed to like the frilly things in life like butterflies and nail polish. yup saige likes cars. she pushes that car around everywhere making noises like vrrrrrrr.... it could be because she has to little boys that are her friends and thats what they play with. either way it too cute!this binkie. man! i try to hide it and she ALWAYS finds it! someone gave it to us at my baby shower. i think its so funny! saige always finds it and puts it in. i think it must feel good on her teeth because its extra chewy, and that cup... she puts everything in it. like i said she likes noise. anything that will clatter she makes it!this is saige and i on the couch just chillin. she actually just sat there watching tv with me just long enough for drew to get a pic. she is not a tv girl so this was really a first. yup thats a cat toy! it has a bell in side it. she will carry it around in her mouth and shake her head to hear it! she likes the simple things. i swear she could live with the cat toy, her cup and that car and just be happy for hours! man we sure do love our angel butt! well thats it with our pics! thanks for hanging in there and getting through my comments on each! haha we sure do miss our grandma and grandpa whitehead though! so to them... Saige says COME VISIT ME!!!

who doesn't love chocolate oreo pie and cup cakes?! Saige love...Loves....LOVES them! she kept "sneaking" bites of my cupcake yesterday! so cute!

Well about two weeks ago we got Saiges pictures taken... they are her one year pics! they turned out ok.. not exactly what we wanted but close enough. she was tired so there aren't any with her cute real smile but.. here goes!

so yesterday was saiges one year doctor appointment...Shots, check up and blood work! the whole deal! she was so good! she was crying hard when she got her shots but when she got blood drawn she was so good! i was so proud of her! such a big girl! i took a few pics after the deal. She weighs 20 pounds! man oh man!
