Saiges Fun Photos

The colors outside are just so beautiful! Saige, Drew and I went outside today to play in the yard. Daddy started working on our cars so Saige and I started taking fun pics. I just can't get over the beauty outside. Even though we live in like the ghetto (haha) I look out at the trees and am just amazed! So I wanted to take advantage of the 80 degree weather in October and the reds, yellows and greens of autumn. For all that don't know this about Saige, she loves her pretties. In other words she loves jewelery. Almost everyday she is wearing some kind of necklace. So in these pics are her with the ones she picked today. A halloween one and a beaded one. Pumpkin Patch!!

Fall is finally here! We love the fall. The colors, the cool air the up coming holidays. Its just the best. This fall has been more exciting then ever. Logan came home from his mission and now best of all the whole whitehead clan (minus Tyson and Jessica) are out in sweet New Jersey visiting! We love it when they are here with us. They have never been here in the fall to see the amazing colors on the east coast. While they were here, we took them to the Lee Turkey Farm. Our friends own it and believe it or not but mom whitehead was visiting teaching companions with Janet Lees best friend from Utah. Man, is the world small or what. Anyways.. We got some great pics while there. We have a ton more but I just picked some of our favorites to put up. Here is all of us together...

Its amazing how much love you can have for one child. I keep thinking, how can I ever love anyone as much as I love her. Every day I look at her and just think, man she is amazing. Its sad to think that she is growing up so fast right before our eyes and we can't stop it. I just want to put this time in a bottle. I never want to forget it.

I can't really think right now but I will try. To bad Drews at work I bet he could name a bunch!

1. I hate drinking water from a cup. I guess I think to much about all the nasties that are in the air and then continuously fall into my cup.

2. I can't stand when people wear brown shoes with a black belt or vice versa. So when drew wanted a studded belt we had to buy a brown one and a black one. haha

3. When I food shop, I can't just buy one of something I have to buy 5 somethings. Food storage ya know! ;)

4. When I go to bed, I can't just lay down and fall asleep. I have a pattern... I lay on my right side the left side then back. Then hopefully after one circle I can fall asleep. If not I repeat that circle.

5. I don't study like an average person. I have to read for 5 minutes and stop. If I study the stuff to long it doesn't stick. So once a day I study for 5 minutes. It seems to be working.. I made the deans list!! Wohoo!

6. hmm.. When I buy Saige clothes they have to be something I would wear. I hate the baby clothes, ya know the stuff that if they had it in an adult size you wouldn't be caught dead wearing. I love dressing her as a minnie me. I love footsie pajamas though. They are cute! Heck if I could find them in our size, Drew, Saige and I would all have them. That would make a cute pic...

Well there are my 6 quirks. I don't think i'm very quirky because I had a really hard time doing this one.

Welcome Home Uncle Logan!

Has it been two years already?? Drews brother Logan has been serving an LDS mission in the Dominican Republic for the past two years and just arrived home this evening! Yes ladies, he is available! We are disappointed we couldn't be there to welcome him home. We missed him a ton and are so proud of him. Saige can't wait to meet her uncle Logan! When he left I was like 2 months prego so saige has never met Logan. We want Logan to know that even though we aren't there in person, are hearts and minds are with him! Welcome home Logan!! See you soon!!!

I need your ideas...

Family pics are coming up here in about two weeks. I don't know what we should wear. I thought of us all wearing brown shirts but drew thinks we should have more color. I agree but it is super hard to find shirts for all of us. I would love to do Saige and I in pink and Drew in brown but i don't know if i like that. I don't know if it will look funny if we have different colors. I need your creative minds to help me! Some ideas on color. Anything PLEASE!!! haha thank you!

A Night Out on the Town..

This weekend Drew, Saige and I went to NYC. It was fantastic! We had so much fun! Saige loved the train in. We forgot her binkie in the car, but amazingly she did very well untill we found a store to buy one. She passed out as soon as she got it.

This is when we first got off the train. We got out at Penn Station. We were so excited to be there we kinda went snap happy!

Here we are by the rockefeller center. I had no idea they didn't do skating in the summer too! duh! It was so beautiful and relaxing there!

The apple store was so cool! Its all glass from the street even the elevator down is all glass then you go under and its all busy and stuff! It was so crazy!

JAMBA JUICE!!! I couldn't believe they had one here! My little piece of Utah right here! I was sooooo excited! If only there were a cafe rio... hmmm some day!

All of, I think it was 7th, was shut down for this fair. It was so cool there were all these vendors and things up the road. Drew thought it was a cool pic because when do you get to stand in the middle of the road in New York City??!!

For all that don't know.. Drew LOVES Legos. So this was pretty dang amazing to him. They had these human size people all built out of legos. They also had towns and pieces of NYC built out of all legos. It was crazy even I thought it was pretty sweet!

Some night time shots! After a lllloooonnnnggggggg day.. it felt really good to be going home. We walked the whole day. We only rode the subway once and that was at night back to Penn Station. Yeahh... we're pretty hard core.

Quiet Books anyone?

ok so for some crazy reason I want to make a quiet book for saige. I have no idea how in the heck to do it! I don't think I am very creative, so i'm looking for anyone to help. Has anyone made a quiet book? where do you start? Thanks guys!

Race...what race?

ok.. So we just got done watching the Republican National Convention and I am extremly excited!! I LOVE our republican party! I don't know who in their right mind would ever vote for Obama! I love our new vice president nominee, Palin!! she is simply amazing! She speaks to us about what she has done, what McCain has done and about the hopeful future of our country! She speaks to us as a women, mother and most of all leader! I have no doubt in my mind that McCain and Palin will do an amazing job guiding our country! I AM SOOO EXCITED!!!! honestly.. what race is there? McCain/Palin against Obama/Biden?? Come on! are you serious! God Bless the USA!!!!
