Cold, Baking and Trunk-or-Treat

This week was freezing here in jersey. It hit like 56 degrees. Everyday I try and take Saige outside to play, she gets so bored in the house. We are all just getting over a cold so when we went out mommie bundled her up real good! She looked like that little kid on A Christmas Story. Love that movie! When we came in, to warm up we made halloween cookies. Saige loves helping bake, this day though she was tired. Mommie was trying to keep her up from her nap. She wanted to eat the cookie without being unwrapped. After she realized what we were doing she got excited and started helping. She kept wanting to eat the raw cookie batter and with grandads help we kept having to say no saige after she picked up each cookie.

Here mommie finally gave in.

Yesterday, We had our trunk-or-treat at our ward. It was soooo fun! All the kids and even adults were dressed up so fun. Saige loved running around and being with other kids. Here she was standing for the costume contest. I think all the kids won! They were all just so cute I don't know how they could pick. There was also a potluck and chili cook off. Dave kays (pictured with the fro) won the chili cook off for the 4th time in a row! Go Dave!

So Proud...

I am so proud of Drew. He is in this architecture class where he had to design a livable place. This is kinda confusing, i'll see if I can explain with out butchering it. They had to design something with 9 squares. They all had to be different but all the same. One row of 3 squares showed simple...floors. The next shows medial floors and walls. The last squares show complex... floors, walls and ceilings. So in this pic below the rows on the left are the simple, the middle rows are medial and the last are complex. Most kids just did pretty simple projects but of course, Drew doesn't do anything below par its always above. So he did spirals and ramps versa stairs. He worked so hard and long on this. It came out perfect! I'm so proud of him! He didn't give up or half do it he finished and it was perfect! Great job babe! I can't wait for him to be done with school and see the awesome buildings he will design and someday our house!This is the spiral stair case. Man hes good!!Here is the drawling he had to do of the project..

Thank you for all who gave me ideas on our family pics. In the end, we decided to go with the brown and pink. Our big issue was with drews outfit and in the end... he was the best dressed out of all of us! I loved his outfit, and to think he wore pink! what a guy! haha These were not my favorite pics. We were all kind of sick. As you can see the juice running out of Saiges nose and Drew looks high in his pic with Saige (we laughed about that one) with me.. it was my bad side... Gabbi understands ;) haha I like pictures taken from the other side, the side that shows all my bangs..blah blah blah. Plus I tried a new thing with Saiges hair which, I don't know. So anyways, I didn't love them. I really liked Saiges because they really show her. Shes going through this shy stage. Its cute. Well.. here they are check them out. I'll tell you the ones we ordered... This pic we got I loved it. Its my favorite!! It says Saige Anne under it...We didn't get this one but still thought it was cute.. Didn't get this one either...

This was the one I got in a big size for our wall. I don't love white backgrounds for family pics but the other option was the red. I didn't want that either. Didn't get this one but kinda wished I did in like a 5x7 for our piano..Got this one! I loved it. We were all laughing and Saiges pose is priceless.. She's like "HEEEYYYY!""Got this one..I liked this one but Drew didn't like his "high" eyes.. I love my handsome husband! he even wore the goatee because I love it on him. He hates hair like that in pics.Didn't get this one.. two words.. bad...side..

Christmas shopping???

So this post is so random but I took these knew pics and thought grandma and grandpa would love them. I loved this shirt on Saige. I think she looks so cute in purple... Here we went to daddys work (Home Depot) to visit him for lunch. We went and saw the flowers and walked across the street, which saige just though was the funnest thing.

She loved the christmas section at home depot. These little things made music and snowed. I now understand why parents love christmas morning so much. The look in her eyes just made me want to melt. She was at auh about everything.
